Type to destroy incoming missiles. Chain power-ups, face the bosses, and keep your fortress standing.
Build your fortress, then push further.
Missile Defense is Typoclysm's arcade typing game. Missiles fall toward your fortress, each carrying a word. Type it to lock on and destroy it, chain combos, collect power-ups such as EMP, Timewarp, Shield and Auto-Track, and survive boss waves all the way to wave 60. Casual runs use your permanent upgrades; Competitive gives everyone the same stats for a pure-skill leaderboard, with weekly titles for the top 10 and coin prizes for the top 3.

The same passage. A different pace. Choose a bot and race.
Start with four keys. Build the confidence to type without looking down.
Enemy missiles fall toward your fortress. Type a missile's word to shoot it down before it lands. Every hit that gets through costs a base-health segment — lose them all and the run ends. Clear all the missiles in a wave to advance; every sixth wave is a boss.
Waves get harder as you go: missiles spawn faster and the words attached to them grow longer, up to 12 characters at the higher waves.
Start typing a word's first letter to lock on to that missile — the cannon fires with each correct key. You stay locked until the word is finished, so choose deliberately.
Tab drops your current lock with no combo penalty, freeing you to retarget a faster, closer missile. Use it when you've committed to a long word and something more urgent appears.
Charges are earned from pickups during play; a slot is greyed out when empty.
Some falling words are pickups, not threats — type them to collect:
A boss appears every 6th wave, 10 in total through wave 60. Instead of falling missiles, you're shown a pane of words to clear before a 20-second timer runs out — miss the timer and the fortress takes a breach. The pace required climbs with each boss: an early boss asks for a modest typing speed, the final one demands real speed. Keep your combo up and don't panic. Bosses are also worth far more score than a normal kill.
Score comes from missiles destroyed, your combo streak, and boss clears (worth a large flat bonus each). At the end of a run, a share of your final score converts into coins — spend them on permanent, account-wide Missile Defense Upgrades (the Upgrades button, in-run or from the main Shop), which apply starting your next run, not the one you bought them mid-run.
Build a stronger last line of defense.

Score = WPM × accuracy², then a combo boost of up to +10% for keystrokes landed at a 50+ combo. The higher final score wins, and speed alone does not decide it. Combo boost changes your score; combo XP is a separate reward.
